With the release of her highly anticipated “LOUD” album waiting in the wings, it was only a matter of time before multiple tracks were “leaked” to the public! In the supposed next radio single, Ri boasts of drinking the nights away in a deep rock piece. This is sure to be the theme song for the weekend-alcoholics (ahem).

Don’ let them bastards get cha down, turn it around with another round. There’s a party at the bar, everybody put your glasses up and I’ll drink to that.

Avril Lavigne fans should be pleasantly surprised that a vocal sample is heard resonating throughout the entire of the track!

History doesn’t lie-in the most popular genres of music, the dominance of Billboard glory belongs to predominately Caucasian or African-American artists. There has yet to be any artists of Asian-decent destroying the charts..until now!

Far East Movement and Bruno Mars are KILLIN the charts- Fillipino and Puerto Rican Mars takes the number one spot with ‘Just The Way You Are’ and the eclectic self dubbed “Asian-Bunch” Far East Movement trails in a close second with their crazy dance hit ‘Like A G6′. Woman Kills Baby Because of Facebook??!

Really, is it that serious?

I’ve heard of crazy girlfriends playing scorned lover to a boyfriend due to the social-networking site, but really a baby?!

Twenty-two year old Alexandra Tobias pled guilty to second-degree murder after she viciously shook her three-month old baby boy for crying. (Last time I checked, that’s a baby’s job…no?) Tobias informed police that she got angry because her son had interrupted her while she was playing Farmville on Facebook. I wish I was kidding but I’m not! She continued to explain in gruesome (yet complacent) detail saying she shook him, smoked a cigarette to calm herself, then returned to shake him once more.

Second-degree murder is punishable by a sentence of up to life in prison. Tobias is set to be sentenced this December.

Like, how dumb can you be? First off, your kid is crying and you’d rather fuck around on Facebook, and THEN she goes as far as to shake him to death. What a loser. Is Farmville really that addicting? Thoughts, views, RANTS OF OUTRAGE MUCH??

LBF Beauty Pick: Sula Nail Stain

I was in the ULTA beauty supply store this past weekend doing my Christmas shopping for family and friends when I came across a polish that I had been eyeing for a while. I mean, this stuff has been RAVED about in Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and by female celebrities round the world. It’s Sula Nail Stain and it’s basically the bees knees.

Have you ever seen a super cute nail color in a department store only to find that when you actually apply it, it’s too translucent  to obtain that deep punchy look? Well, dammit, maybe you need to up your nail game a bit! Sula gives you exactly what you see. That bold turquoise you see from the outside of the bottle is immediately replicated on your nails. No shit, I promise.

This Christmas I’m giving beauty gift baskets to the women of my unnecessarily large Panamanian family. It’s contents will have the goods that every fashionista on the go should carry by law! Kanye’s Album Artwork Banned in the US: Phoenix or Monster?!

 
Oh Kanye, you are definitely on another level lovey. Last week, Kanye West released the album artwork for his anticipated return to music in My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

The cover is an all red faced cover with a small square cut-out depicting a cartooned demon-esque Kanye with spirits in hand and a caucasian supposed ’phoenix’ straddling him in the nude. Having already stirred the “religion versus creative imagery” pot with his short film Power, it seems as if the Golddigger rapper is at it again.

West took to his Twitter to voice his outrage in several 140-charactar count tweets:

“Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!”

Throughout the several tweets of the commercialism of entertainment, West does make one valid point:

”So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings”

Hmm, what is it with the “no-armed” montage people are going with?! First my wife Nicki Minaj on her Pink Friday cover, now Ye?!! Anyways, West is justified in comparing the Nirvana album Nevermind: the album pictured a nude baby boy submerged in water with his goodies in plain sight for all to view. But back to Kanye: what happened to the “phoenix” bit lovey? Last I checked, a phoenix was symbolic for change or being reborn; but a monster? That trails into darker territory. (ooh-wee!) But, let us not forget, Freudian slips tend to prove more than blatant statements can! What do you think of Ye’s album artwork? Too racy? Or a special kind of crazy?

LBF Is Lovin’: Minus the Bear

And you should too dammit.

Describe MTB in three words: ethereal, punchy, and at times celestial. (Ooh, that’s six words, huh?)

Seattle-bred Minus the Bear manages to encapsulate the definition of “sonic-sound” music, at times being described as a genre-less band. With the May released album OMNI, the quintet embarks on the US  leg of their tour beginning tomorrow in Eugene, OR and ending Halloween night in NO, LA.

Lucky, lucky Texas has the honor of hosting MTB for four nights:

Young Money Changes Nicki’s ‘Pink Friday’ Release AGAIN!

Alright now Young Money, I’ma need y’all to pull it together. Y’all are worse than Ciara‘s people when it come to album release dates!

Nicki Minaj left stans with bated breath leaving this tweet on her official Twitter @NICKIMNAJ:

“Barbz there’s something I’ve been meaning to say but I haven’t 4 fear I’d cause a riot. I know how intense u guys can be.”

Four and half hours later, the Your Love singer informed  her 1,476,621 followers that the album release date would be available for purchase on Tuesday November 22 rather than the ‘Black Pink Friday’ theme of Friday November 26. I’m sure if the original date was kept it would have further sensationalized from a publicity stand-point, but Let’s Be Foreal, that album would KILL regardless of when it was released! Minaj also unveiled the more than unorthodox album cover for her first studio-album. With a stagnant doe-eyed gaze, missing two appendages, and elongated legs, the Harajuku Barbie unleashes a special kind of crazy to the world-and we eat it up! What do you think? Too much crazy-or juuuuust right?

NEW MUSIC: Rick Ross Feat. Drake & Chrisette Michele “Aston Martin Music”

Umm hello, when did Chrisette Michele go au natural? FABOOSH! That’s besides the point…Rick Ross ole big self done did it again! ‘Aston Martin Music‘ is the third single released off the Super High rapper’s fourth studio album entitled ‘Teflon Don‘. On the borderline slow-jam video, Drake spits a superly live verse towards the end of the track, holding his own alongside seasoned rap lyricist Ross. Song jams. What do you think?

Justin Bieber Can Rap?! “Speaking in Tungs” Debut

From nail polish to rapping?! That’s right, the 16-year old phenom is taking on the world of hip-hop releasing a self made video of himself rapping to Nas’ “Speaking in Tungs”. His alter ego name? SHAWTY MANE!!!The Internet world has been buzzing about a certain lick in the ‘Baby’ singers bout:

“Hello, Mr. Brady, tell ‘em leave the hair to the guy that sings baby.”

Gotta give it to JB: Tom Brady’s hair is a “hot pot of dammit”, but hey, he’s still toting one of the finest women in the world, Gisele Bündchen!

While the content of the flow is a bit elementary, (considering his fan base) the constant change in rhythm resembles that of a seasoned rap lyricist! Play the video below, the kid is multi-faceted; I gotta give it to him he shut it DOWN! Opinions??!
